The Walk

The Walk is a game that follows in the footsteps of the popular app Zombie, Run! Similar to that app, The Walk uses your smartphone's pedometer to immerse you in an interactive story. Just plug in your headphone and listen to the app's story to get motivated to walk to the next chapter in the story.

The Walk was developed with a health institute, and is a great way to stay motivated and get fit. The game begins with two minutes of walking, and the story reveals that a bomb has been planted at Inverness Station. Your mission is to go to the station to pick up a package. But to reach the station, you'll have to walk for fifteen minutes in real life. The package is key to saving the world, and you'll have to travel to different locations to learn what to do with it. The story requires you to walk for various lengths of time, and you'll progress to the next episode as you walk.

Along the way you'll also collect items, such as keys or tickets that you'll use to progress through the story.
